These collages consist of a two fold process. I start by filling a page with a sumi ink textural painting. The painting captures a sense of texture and dimension. I then slice and reassemble the pieces of the whole into a new collage. They are a combination of disruption and assembly into a new form with its own evolved flow and structure.
